Tax Information
Fuji Skyline Weather Mapping LLC is a US-based limited liability company. We collect and remit sales tax as required by Oregon law. Oregon does not impose a state sales tax on digital products. For customers outside the United States, local tax obligations are the customer's responsibility.
Professional Disclosures
We are not a certified meteorological organization. We are not affiliated with the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) or any government weather service. The weather data we present comes from publicly available APIs, primarily Open-Meteo, which sources from JMA forecast models. Our analysis and essays represent our own observations and research, not official meteorological guidance.
We do not hold patents, trademarks (except the common law rights to our business name), or special licenses related to weather services. Our IoT sensor network uses off-the-shelf components and open-source software.
Payment Processing
For digital product sales, we use Stripe as our payment processor. Stripe handles all payment data according to their security and privacy standards. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. All transactions are processed over HTTPS.
Complaint Resolution
If you have a complaint about our service, contact us directly at maps@fujiskyline.com. We aim to resolve all complaints within 14 business days. If we cannot resolve your complaint satisfactorily, you may escalate to the Oregon Department of Justice Consumer Protection Division.
